Republic’s Miha and Misora Nambara finished 1-2 at the Willard Highline Cross Country Invitational. Miha finished in 19:21.20, nearly two minutes ahead of the rest of the field. Republic sophomore Miha Nambara finished her standout cross country season with a top-50 finish at the state cross country meet in Columbia Saturday. She placed 50th in Class 4, in a field of 170 runners. Nambara ran the race at Columbia’s Gans Cross Country Course in 19:38, just four seconds

Republic’s cross country team achieved eight personal records at the Camdenton Laker Invitational Saturday. The personal bests included a medal-winning performance by Miha Nambara, who finished her race in 19:48, taking third. She has medaled in every race this year.
