Republic’s cross country team achieved eight personal records at the Camdenton Laker Invitational Saturday. The personal bests included a medal-winning performance by Miha Nambara, who finished her race in 19:48, taking third. She has medaled in every race this year.
Seven members of the boys team achieved personal bests. Jack Coursey ran the course in 19:11. Jackson Haralson finished in 19:50. The other personal bests were Collin Chastain (20:08), Jacob Haralson (20:30), Logan Gray (20:31), Derrick Buchanan (21:46), and Cole Zink (24:40).
Ethan Haynes was Republic’s top finisher on the boys side, at 18:18.
