Sophomore Mihane Nambara blew away the field at the Willard Highline Invitational, finishing 33 seconds ahead of runner-up Avery Webber, to win her first varsity gold medal. Nambara ran the race in 20:27.70.

Three other Lady Tigers finished in the top 15. Aaliyah Vasquez and Jasmyn Douglas finished tied for eighth with identical official times of 22:41.40. Miku Nambara was 15th (23:56.90).
Republic also captured one medal in the varsity boys race. Sophomore Ethan Haynes finished 12th, running the course in 18:12.40.
