Nine Republic volleyball players earned Academic All-State recognition from the Missouri High School Volleyball Coaches Association.
Those honored were Bria Claxton, Reese Finley, Shelby Forbis, Hailey Fuentes, Kate Mitchell, Chloe Pullan, Rylee Vent, Addyson Warner and Andie Wistrom.
Academic All-State selections were nominated by coach Allison Davis and must meet participation and academic standards set by the MHSVCA. In addition to varsity playing requirements, nominees are recognized for strong performance in the classroom during the school year.
Republic also had nine players on the academic all-state team last year.
