Republic volleyball made quick work of Joplin on the road Thursday, sweeping the Eagles 25–23, 25–15, 25–14.
The win pushed the Lady Tigers back over .500 at 11–10–1 and gave them their second straight victory in Central Ozark Conference West play.
Reese Finley had a big night all over the court, finishing with 13 kills and five aces, while also piling up 20 assists. Rylee Vent added three blocks, and Bria Claxton led the defense with 10 digs. Addyson Warner chipped in five aces from the service line.
Republic’s JV and freshmen squads also won in two sets apiece.
The Lady Tigers return to action October 7 at Kickapoo.
