Second baseman Mia Carnes started her junior season in a big way. At the Morrisville tournament over the weekend, Carnes had eleven plate appearances and reached base safely six times. She had four hits in eight at-bats. Two of those hits were doubles, and another was a home run.
Carnes finished the weekend with a batting average of .500, an on-base percentage of .600, and a slugging percentage of 1.125. Her four-game output was our Performance of the Week.
