The Lady Tigers tennis team opened the season with a third-place finish at the Kickapoo Invitational. The highlight of the day for Republic came in an 8-1 trouncing of Ozark in foggy conditions Friday morning. The Lady Tigers fell to Springfield Catholic, 3-6.
