The number of points that separated first place and fifth place at the Central Ozark Conference boys wrestling championship. The Tigers, who led throughout much of the day, fell to fifth in the final standings, but it was Republic’s best finish at the COC meet on record, going back to 2009.  Republic had not finished better than 7th in the past 14 years. The Tigers had not racked up more than 108 points in any of the previous 15 seasons, but scored 151.5 this year.

The number of rebounds (66) and assists (57) by Lauren Chastain through 16 games. Chastain leads the team in both categories—an indicator of her importance to the Lady Tigers’ steady improvement as the season has progressed. Chastain is also the team’s third-leading scorer, with 7.3 points per game.

The percentage of three-point shots made by the Republic Lady Tigers this season. Republic’s long-range shooting has helped the team move into the state rankings at No. 10 in Class 6. Misora Nambara is making 45% of her three-point attempts, leading the team.

The number of points per game allowed by Republic during its three games of the Bolivar Liberator Invitational. The Tigers spent extra time focusing on defense in the days before the tournament, and it paid off with their best effort in that area so far this season. Republic held Camdenton to 24 points, allowed 34 points to Strafford, and gave up 50 points to state-ranked Helias in a loss in the championship game.

The number of career points scored by Brenley Hagewood. Hagewood topped the 1,000-point milestone Friday during Republic’s win over Strafford. He finished that game with 1,014 and added 12 more during the Tigers’ championship game against Helias.
