Republic scored the first ten points of the game, but lost its momentum and its chance at a Blue & Gold Tournament championship in a 55-45 semifinal loss to Ozark Wednesday.
Brenley Hagewood led Republic with 11 points in a losing cause. Ethan Whatley had 14 for Ozark.
Ozark advances to play Bolivar in the championship game. Republic will play Greenwood in the third-place game.
