The Republic volleyball team turned in its second straight-sets win against an Ozark Conference opponent Thursday. But this one was a lot closer than the last one.
The Lady Tigers traveled to Camdenton and knocked off the Lakers 27-25, 25-19, 25-23. Kailey Manes had 12 kills to lead Republic to its second road win of the week.
Manes also had five service aces. Claire Esther led the defense with 12 digs, and Payge Plank dished out 46 assists.
The win improves Republic’s record to 6-3 overall.
The JV lost its match in three sets, 20-25 26-24 22-25. The freshmen won in two, 25-16 25-18.
