Softball base burglar Kaitlyn Ragsdale is proving this spring that she can run fast more than 60 feet at a time. Ragsdale is putting together another standout track season, and she led the way among Republic athletes at the district track meet in Nixa Saturday.
Ragsdale qualified for sectionals in four events, winning one of them. She was the district champion in the 100 meter hurdles, and she also qualified in the 300 meter hurdles, the 4×100 meter relay, and the 4×200 meter relay.
Ragsdale will slow down to collect her diploma at graduation today, then be back on the track for practice this week as she and fifteen of her teammates prepare for the sectional track meet to be held at Carthage next Saturday.
