Miha Nambara finished fifth at the Central Ozark Conference cross country championships in Nixa Tuesday. Nambara ran the race in 20:22.40 to continue her streak of medaling in every race this season.
Aaliyah Vasquez was Republic’s next-best runner, finishing in just over 23 minutes to place 39th. Jasmyn Douglas, Miku Nambara, and Alexis Collins-Irvin also competed for Republic. which finished eighth out of ten schools.
Sophomore Ethan Haynes was the top finisher for the Republic boys, with a time of 18:42.50. That was good for 46th place. Jack Coursey, Braden Lester, Dominick Famiano, Jackson Haralson, Collin Chastain, and Jacob Haralson also competed for Republic.
