Treydon Rackley scored 17 points and Tristan Ollar added 16 to lead the Tigers past Rogersville 50-36 for Republic’s first win of the young season. Rackley and Ollar both went off after halftime, combining for 21 of their 33 points in the second half.

The Tigers led 21-14 at the midway point, despite scoring only eight points in the second quarter. They put more distance between themselves and Rogersville in the third quarter, outscoring the Wildcats 13-6.

In addition to the scoring from Ollar and Rackley, the Tigers got six points from Ty Stevens, four apiece from Cameron Doke and Mitch Coiner, two from Caleb Singley, and one from Tyler Phillips.

The victory improves Republic’s record to 1-2. They’re back in action at home against Carl Junction Tuesday night.
