The Lady Tigers golf team finished 6th out of 11 teams at the Pearson Invitational Monday. Republic scored a 378, its best team score of the year, fueled by three golfers with career-best scores.
Katie Hamilton led the way with an 87, her best round ever. Caroline Blanford shot a 95 and Emma Blanford shot a 97, also a career best. Alexus Mitchell ended with an all-time best score of 99, and Vanessa Nimmo finished at an even 100.
” was the strongest field that we have competed against this year,” says coach Curt Plotner. “We are continuing to move in the right direction.”
Kickapoo won the overall team competition with a team score of 315. Sun Jung of Glendale was the overall champion with a three-under-par 67.
