The Republic volleyball team jumped up three spots to #6 in the latest Class 3 state rankings from the Missouri High School Volleyball Coaches Association. The Lady Tigers are 2-1, with their only loss to Springfield Glendale (#4, Class 4).
St. Francis Borgia is in the #1 spot, with a 10-1 record. They’re followed by Kansas City O’Hara (5-3), Cape Girardeau Notre Dame (14-1), DeSoto (8-0) and Boonville (3-1). Mountain Grove — who lost to Republic last week — is ranked seventh. Holden, Kansas City St. Pius X, and Carl Junction round out the top ten.
COC rival Rogersville was one of three teams to drop out of the Class 3 rankings this week. Another COC team, Ozark, remains at #7 in the Class 4 poll.
