Maddux Blansit led Republic with a 78 at the Carthage Abbiatti’s BBQ Invitational, and the Tigers finished sixth in the team standings with a 321. Maddux’s finish was good for a tie for 17th in a 24-school field.
Kickapoo, Carl Junction, and Nixa took the top three team spots. Rogersville was fourth, Monett fifth, and Republic and Nevada tied for sixth, one stroke back of Monett.
Ryder Edmonds shot 79 to finish tied for 23rd. Liam Tharp added an 80, and Jin Villasica and Dylan Delahay each shot 84.
Republic will be back in action later this week at Willard.
