The Republic golf team opened with a win in Aurora at the Honey Creek Golf Club on Monday. The Tigers started their season with a two-man scramble format, with Ryder Edmonds and Liam Tharp leading the way. The two teamed to shoot a 69 to win first place. Dylan Delahay and Brody Romines won a tie-breaker to finish second with a combined score of 74. Maddux Blansit and Chance Gimlin scored a 78.
