Andie Wistrom scored with 28:21 left in the first half, and that was all Republic needed in a 1-0 win over Lighthouse Christian Academy on Saturday at the Branson Shootout.
It was the Lady Tigers’ second win in three matches at the tournament. Awbree Berning and the Republic defense recorded their second shutout of the season, limiting Lighthouse to just two shots on goal. Republic held a 5-2 edge in corner kicks, with Macey Mitchell adding two shots on goal.
Republic improves to 3-3. The Lady Tigers return to action March 31 against Ozark.
