The Tigers and Lady Tigers both open tournament play tonight, but their schedules (and my coverage) will vary depending on how the games turn out.
The Lady Tigers, the No. 4 seed in the Pink Division of the Pink & White Tournament at Drury University, tip off at 8:00 p.m. tonight against unseeded Springfield Catholic at Weiser Gym. After Day 1, winners advance to the O’Reilly Family Event Center, while losers stay at Weiser.
A Thursday win places Republic on the championship side Saturday against Fair or Glendale. Semifinals are scheduled for Monday, with the championship game at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday and the third-place game at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday.

The Tigers, the No. 3 seed in the Blue Division of the Blue & Gold Tournament at Missouri State University, open at 9:30 p.m. tonight against Springfield Catholic at the Hammons Student Center. After Day 1, winners move to the Great Southern Bank Arena, while losers remain at Hammons.
A first-round win sends Republic to a 9:30 p.m. Saturday quarterfinal against either Mountain Grove or Miller. The Tigers are scheduled for evening games throughout the tournament, with the championship path continuing through Monday night’s semifinals and concluding Tuesday night. The championship game is set for 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, with the third-place game at 5:30 p.m.
