The total number of rebounds the Lady Tigers ripped down in their 69-14 season-opening statement against Lee’s Summit North. The performance matched a 35-year-old program landmark originally set against Cassville in 1989. Republic’s dominance on the glass has been a cornerstone of their 3-0 start, as they’ve consistently limited opponents to “one-and-done” possessions. “We are always going to focus on those little things, and we rebounded well,” said Coach Tori Mooneyham. “That’s 18 more possessions we got, and that’s something that we really buy into.”

The number of times the Lady Tigers have broken a school swim record in their first weeks of competition this season. The 200-yard medley relay team broke the record twice in 24 hours, while the 400-yard freestyle relay and the 200-yard freestyle relay both established new program benchmarks. Freshman Ava Brown also added an individual record in the 50-yard freestyle.

The number of free throws converted by the Lady Tigers to stifle a comeback-minded Lutheran St. Charles squad. In a physical 57-50 battle where field goals were hard to come by, Republic orchestrated a masterclass in drawing contact, shooting 86.2% from the stripe. Awbree Berning led the charge by sinking 10 of 12 attempts, while Paelyn Gilmore was a perfect 6-for-6.

The total point differential for the Tigers in the second quarter through the first four games of the season. Republic has made a habit of turning close contests into comfortable leads during the second frame, outscoring opponents 65-31. While the Tigers are a combined -14 in the first and fourth quarters, their dominance in the middle periods—anchored by that +34 margin in the second—has been the catalyst for their 3-1 start.

72.7%

Republic’s blistering three-point shooting percentage in their 53-48 win over Ozark. The Tigers were selective and surgical from beyond the arc, knocking down 8 of their 11 attempts. It was a stark contrast to their season opener against Olathe West, where they struggled to find their rhythm, shooting just 21.7% from deep.

6

The number of three-pointers knocked down by Addie Brown in Republic’s 76-56 win over Jefferson City. Brown’s 24-point performance was a near-miss of the school record for triples in a single game (8), but it helped the Lady Tigers finish with 12 total three-pointers as a team—just two shy of the program record of 14. Brown has emerged as a versatile matchup nightmare, proving just as dangerous from the perimeter as she is in the paint.

The total points scored by Republic to top a nine-team field Tuesday at Foster Natatorium. The victory marks the first team championship in the history of the Republic swim program, for either the boys or girls teams. The Lady Tigers finished well ahead of runner-up Lebanon (187 points) and third-place Bolivar (163 points).

The average number of assists per game for junior point guard Keiran Govan. In just four games, Govan has accounted for 27 of the team’s 50 total assists (54%). His vision has kept the Tiger offense humming, and he currently sits on a pace that could threaten the school’s single-season assist records if the trend continues. His 1.93 assist-to-turnover ratio highlights a disciplined approach to the point guard position that belies his age.

26

The margin of victory, in seconds, for the 400-yard freestyle relay team during Tuesday’s meet. The team of Brown, Replogle, Pinnell, and Annalice Renegar left the field behind to secure a massive win that punctuated the program’s first team title.

5

The number of pins recorded by Millie Waterman in five matches as she tore through the 120-pound bracket at the Lady Mustang Invitational to open the season. Waterman was the model of efficiency, spending less than ten total minutes on the mat across her five bouts.

7

The number of wins recorded by 215-pounder Ethan Montiel in the early-going, including six at the Lee’s Summit North Invitational. Montiel led the Tigers in total points scored at the tournament and he was one of two Tigers to earn a win at Branson on Wednesday.
