Republic Softball went 1–4 at the Branson Festival, dropping two to open the tournament before earning a win Saturday morning and then falling in the final two games. The Lady Tigers left the weekend at 10–10 overall and will travel to face COC West rival Webb City on Tuesday.

Dale (Okla.) 1, Republic 0
Kendra Goeke threw six outstanding innings for Republic, allowing just five hits and one run, but lost a pitcher’s duel to open the tournament. The Lady Tigers had only three hits against Dale pitcher Boo Herber, who struck out 11 and did not walk a batter.
Silo (Okla.) 8, Republic 0
Republic gave up three runs in the first and five more in the fifth, committing four errors along the way. The offense was limited to four hits, with Maddie Taylor collecting a triple. Republic batters struck out nine times in the loss.
Republic 5, West Monroe (Okla.) 4
The Lady Tigers broke through early with three in the first inning and scored twice more in the second to take a 5-1 lead. West Monroe rallied late, but Republic held on. Addie Brown had two hits, Emma Ellison doubled, and Maddie Taylor tripled to spark the offense.
Poplar Bluff 4, Republic 3
Poplar Bluff scored four runs in the fourth inning to hand the Lady Tigers a one-run loss. Addie Brown doubled and Maddie Taylor tripled for the second time in the tournament. Brown, Kara Goeke, and and Emma Hoodenpyle each drove in a run.
Pryor (Okla.) 10, Republic 1
Two big innings powered Pryor past Republic 10-0 on Saturday. The teams were tied 1-1 when Pryor dropped four runs in the bottom of the third to take a 5-1 lead. They added five more in the fourth to put the game away.
