The number of consecutive state appearances for Republic golfer Cason Bekemeier. Bekemeier qualified with a 70 during the district tournament in Springfield Monday. He becomes the first three-time state qualifier for Republic boys golf since his cousin, Dylan Bekemeier, did it more than a decade ago.

Luke Heavin’s score at the district golf tournament on Monday, putting him in line to qualify for the state tournament next week. It was the lowest score of the season for Heavin, who has peaked at the right time. The senior had his highest finish in a tournament just last week, when his 77 at Monett was good enough to place fourth in the medalist race.

The number of records held or shared by Reese Finley as she winds down her sophomore track season. Finley broke her own 400m record last week at the Central Ozark Conference championship, and she also is part of three relay records set last year. Gracie Troester is the only other active Republic athlete to hold four school records.

The number of shutouts by the Lady Tigers soccer team during the 2024 season to date. Goalkeeper Awbree Berning and the defense have turned in a clean sheet 21 times over the past two seasons. Their 10 shutouts this year is one short of last year’s total and just two short of the school record of 12, set in 2015.

The batting average for Republic right fielder Jackson Overstreet, who has hit safely in all but four games this season. In Republic’s last two games, Overstreet is 5-for-8 with two doubles.
