Republic’s girls wrestling team won a pair of duals Tuesday, including a narrow 37-36 victory over Neosho and a 60-12 win against Logan-Rogersville.
In the tighter dual against Neosho, Republic picked up key pins from Millie Waterman (120) and Gabby Shanks (135). Byes rounded out scoring for Republic, giving them enough points for the win.
Waterman’s record stands at 15-4 this season. Shanks is 13-5.
Against Logan-Rogersville, Republic got pins from Waterman and Abby Horn in the night’s only contested matches. Waterman needed just 46 seconds to win at 125 pounds, while Horn won in 1:48 at 130.
