Waterman won her first two matches by pin, stopping Tatum Kirk of Columbus/Cherokee-Southeast and Madyson Doane of Cabot before falling to Melanie Medrano of Springdale in the championship match.
Dorothy Waterman bounced back from an opening-round loss to win her final two matches at 105 pounds, including an 8-0 major decision over Serina Nunes of Har-Ber in the third-place match.
Bre-Elle Gutierrez won her opening match by decision, then captured third place at 110 pounds with a 12-0 major decision against Tamylynn Lokboj of Har-Ber.
Gabby Shanks lost her opening match at 140 pounds but won her next two, including pins against Miley Cleghorn of Bentonville and Michelle Aguilar of Har-Ber to finish third.
Rachel Clark and Tera Vesco both competed at 115 pounds, with Clark winning twice and Vesco finishing sixth.
Also competing for Republic were Sakura Wilcutt, Annar McBroom, Abby Horn, Aara Shade, and Addison Stepp.
