Republic begins its Stephanie Phillips Classic schedule Thursday night against Fair Grove, hoping to bounce back from a season-opening loss to El Dorado Springs.
The schedule doesn’t get any easier. Republic opens against the team that beat El Dorado Springs in the Class 3 state championship game last season: Fair Grove. The Lady Tigers face the Lady Eagles at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, then take on Kickapoo Friday at 7:00 p.m. They wrap up the tournament Saturday afternoon against Strafford at 3:30.

All tournament games will be played at Kickapoo High School.
