The number of times the Republic football defense has swarmed into the backfield to make a tackle during the past two weeks. Republic softball has been aggressive on the basepaths, successfully stealing 42 bases in 43 attempts. The 97.67% success rate is a big contributor to the Lady Tigers’ ability to score runs. Ten different players have stolen at least one base, and Addison Walker leads the team with eight.
.528
The batting average for Addie Brown through 14 games. Brown has 36 at-bats and 19 base hits so far this season. She has a home run, 17 runs batted in, and 10 runs scored to go along with that gaudy batting average.
.725
The slugging percentage for Republic right fielder Paige Elsenraat. Elsenraat has 19 base hits in total, including seven for extra bases: five doubles, a triple, and a home run. Her slugging percentage leads the team, and so do her five doubles.

The number of shutouts by the Republic soccer defense and goalkeeper Koal Williams so far this season. The Tigers have won five of their nine games through last week. The latest shutout was a 5-0 victory over West Plains during the Viking Classic Saturday afternoon. The highlight so far may have been a 1-0 win at Camdenton in which Williams recorded 12 saves.

The team-leading number of blocks by volleyball senior Adison Gibbs. Gibbs has more than twice as many blocks as any other Lady Tiger to help lead the front-row defense. And she’s killing it on the offensive side, too, leading the team with 2.9 kills per set.
