Republic High School will host its annual elementary track camp on May 28-29, 2024 at the school’s stadium. The two-day event is open to students going into grades 3-6 and costs $30 per participant.
The camp will be divided into two sessions based on grade level, with next year’s 3rd-4th graders attending from 4:30pm to 6:00pm and next year’s 5th-6th graders from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Coaches will instruct participants on techniques and drills for various track and field events, including sprints, distance running, hurdles, long jump, high jump, shot put, and more. The camp is meant primarily to give younger children experience at track in a fun environment.
