Austin Hardcastle won his singles bracket without dropping a match to lead the Republic tennis team at the Bolivar Tournament Monday. Hardcastle finished first in the Flight 4 Singles bracket. He won one of three medals for Republic.
Cooper Choate finished second in Flight 3 singles. Kyle Cunningham and Elijah Kennard also finished second. They were competing in Flight 3 doubles.
Republic finished third overall as a team.
Hardcastle’s win in the Flight 4 singles bracket is his second in a row. He won the same bracket at Bolivar last year and is 6-0 over the past two seasons.
