Performance of the Week – Cason Bekemeier

Cason Bekemeier was good all day at the Ozark Invitational at Fremont Hills Country Club. But he was best of all at the very end of his round.

Bekemeier dropped in a two-under-par eagle on his final hole of the day, locking in a third-place finish. Bekemeier and the rest of the field fought 20-mile-an-hour winds, and he finished with a final score of 74. Only two golfers finished ahead of Bekemeier: Harry Satterlee of Joplin and Jack Spencer of Carl Junction.

Bekemeier has been in the top 10 at all of Republic’s tournaments so far this season, and his third-place finish is not only his best of the year, but it’s also our Performance of the Week.
