Republic’s volleyball team landed a record 10 players on the Academic All-State Team from the 2023 season. That’s the most players to earn the recognition from Republic in a single season.
This year’s honorees are Kaylee Cornelsen, Addison Fanning, Rilynn Finley, Reese Finley, Reese Frey, Adison Gibbs, Aubrey Haynes, Lexi Mitchell, Alaina Norman, and Brooklyn Claxton.
To be recognized, players must play a minimum number of varsity matches and maintain a cumulative 3.6 grade point average.
Republic earned seven spots on the Academic All-State Team in the past two seasons. The previous high was nine members of the 2019 team.
