The Tigers and Lady Tigers each won the team championship at the Republic Classic to open the season Monday. The girls team racked up 177 points, with Fair Grove second at 105 and Spokane third at 76. The boys team had 138 points, with Fair Grove a close second at 135 and Stockton not far behind at 124.

Zion Allen and Gracie Troester each won two individual events. Allen leaped 6.49m in the long jump and cleared 1.98m in the high jump. Troester won the 1600m with a time of 5.29.84 and the 3200m with a time of 11:54.78.
In other girls events, Kristin Probst won the 800m run with a time of 2:28.83.
Kailey Manes won the high jump, clearing 1.52m.
Gracie Woods won the long jump with a distance of 4.74m.
Ali Poulson won the discus with a distance of 28.26.
Alaina Norman won the javelin with a throw of 38.60.
The Republic 4x100m girls relay team of Gracie Woods, Brooklyn Douglas, Reese Frey, and Jenna Belcher finished first with a time of 52.95.
The 4x200m girls relay of Woods, Molly Mason, Frey, and Belcher finished first in 1:52.65.
The 4x400m girls relay of Woods, Rilynn Finley, Probst, and Mason finished first with a time of 4:21.06.
The 4x800m girls relay team of Troester, Cali Thompson, Misora Nambara, and Probst won that event with a time of 10:36.15.

In other boys events, Brady Purcell won the 3200m run with a time of 10:20.91.
The boys 4x100m relay team of Cole Gimlin, Braden Ghys, Daniel Phillips, and Andrew Burgess finished first with a time of 44.91.
The 4x200m relay team of Burgess, Mason Cole, Ghys, and Treyton Gray finished first with a time of 1:35.81.
The 4x800m relay team of Joseph Mullins, William Payne, Brady Purcell, and Aslan Ebisch finished first with a time of 8:59.36.
Kendell Curbow won the pole vault, clearing 3.50m.
