Chance Cole (Fort Zumwalt North) defeats Connor Sandridge 3-2 for third place in the 175-pound bracket. Sandridge finishes fourth in Class 4 and wraps up his senior season with a 31-5 record.

Trailing 7-2, Connor Sandridge earned a second-round pin to move into the medal rounds. He defeated Cole Harrell of Hickman to advance, and he’ll wrestle for third place against Chance Cole (51-6) of Fort Zumwalt North.

Connor Sandridge lost his semifinal to Brett Smith (42-2) of Troy by a second-round fall. He will wrestle again in the consolation bracket and needs one more win to secure a medal. His next opponent will be Cole Harrell (47-5) of Columbia Hickman.

Keaton Overcast lost a tough 3-2 decision to Fisher Butler of Neosho in 2nd-round wrestlebacks. He finishes a strong senior season with a state win under his belt.

Connor Sandridge is through to the semifinals. He defeated Nathan Sola of Liberty North 8-2 in the quarterfinals. He’ll meet Brett Smith (41-2) of Troy in the semifinals.

Keaton Overcast has his first career win at the state tournament. He defeated junior Brendan Kelly of Liberty (16-12) in a 2-0 decision to open wrestlebacks. He’ll go one more time later tonight to try to stay alive.

Connor Sandridge (29-3) wins his first-round match against Ethan Wasson (25-15) of Timberland in a 3-1 decision. He advances to the quarterfinals to face Nathan Sola (38-8) of Liberty North later this evening.

Keaton Overcast (36-11) dropped his first-round match to Mathew Cook (36-10), a district champion from Seckman. Cook won on a second-round pin. Overcast will wrestle in the consolation bracket later this evening.
