Branson squeaked by Republic in a Central Ozark Conference wrestling dual in Republic Tuesday, 36-31. The Pirates came from behind, winning with two pins at 215 and 285 to earn 12 points and pass Republic.

Six Republic wrestlers won their matches, four of them by pin. Quentin Bailey (138), Manning Wilkins, Maddox Wilkins, and Connor Sandridge all pinned their opponents. Keaton Overcast (126) won a major decision, 9-1, and Shea Rogers won a 10-4 decision.
