Republic sophomore Izzy Benson finished seventh at the Central Ozark Conference golf tournament Monday at the Horton Smith golf course in Springfield. That was good enough to earn all-conference honors, which are given to the top-ten finishers.
Benson shot an 88, two shots behind Maci Rogers of Branson and three shots ahead of Willard’s Aubrey Foster.
Willard won the team championship, followed by Ozark and Joplin in second and third. Republic finished seventh as a team. Their score of 425 was their best team score of the season.
Stephanie David, Lena Mais, Apryllmari Clark, and Paige Crosby also competed for Republic.
