Republic built a 2-0 lead at home against Monett Thursday, but the Tigers couldn’t hold onto it, as the Cubs came from behind for a 3-2 (3-2) win in overtime penalty kicks. The loss drops Republic’s record to 2-9. Republic will play in the Laker Shootout at Camdenton this weekend.
