Repmo Nabs Three Golds at COC Track

Republic brought home three gold medals from the Central Ozark Conference track and field championship in Branson. AJ Fenske finished first in the discus, Jasmyn Douglas won the 800 meter run, and Douglas joined with Miha and Misora Nambara and Kristin Probst to win the 4×800 meter relay.

The Republic girls team finished in a tie for third place with Webb City, behind Nixa and Ozark. The boys team finished ninth.

Other top-three individual finishers for Republic included Probst (3rd in the 400 meter dash), Kaitlyn Ragsdale (2nd in the 300 meter hurdles), Lexi Reeves (3rd in the pole vault), Jenna Belcher (3rd in the triple jump), and Fenske (2nd in the shot put).

Three different girls relay teams finished second: the 4×100 meter relay team of Gracie Woods, Belcher, Chloe McCann, and Ragsdale; the 4×200 team of Lauren Chastain, Alaina Norman, Belcher, and Woods; and the 4×400 team of Norman, Woods, Douglas, and Probst.
