In her very first game as a sophomore, Kaemyn Bekemeier set an all-time school record for points in a game, racking up 37 against Springdale Har-Ber in the Lady Tigers’ home opener. She missed two games with an injury, then came back against Rolla to score 23 more. Those 23 points against Rolla included eight free throws in the fourth quarter to help the Lady Tigers climb out of a big hole, setting up a game-winning buzzer-beater by Jazzy Kirby to give Republic the win.
