Before the match, Republic honored six senior wrestlers and one manager: Michael Bailey, Wyatt George, Ryzen Gonzelez, David Honeycutt, Isaiah Madson, and Andre Northrup; and manager Audrey Byrne.
The Tigers took advantage of several open lineup slots for the Bulldogs to account for the large victory margin, but among contested matches, Republic won six of eight.
Wyatt George, Kendall Curbow, Maddox Wilkens, Connor Sandridge, and Darren Arnold all pinned their opponents.
The win improves Republic’s dual record to 4-2 this season.
