Last week, we gave a shout out to the Lady Tigers tennis team for their great performance in the individual district tournament when they qualified five players for the state tournament.
So it’s hard to overlook them this week, after they topped themselves with another historic performance. This time, it was a 5-0 sweep of Springfield Glendale to earn a spot in the Class 2 state final four. It’s the first-ever appearance in a state semifinal for any Republic tennis team, boys or girls.
