Bekemeier’s All-State Selection Leads Repmo Hoops Honors

Freshman Kaemyn Bekemeier has landed a spot on the Class 5 All-State basketball team selected by Missouri’s high school coaches. Bekemeier averaged around 15 points per game, but averaged 19.4 after joining the starting lineup in January. She also pulled down 5.5 rebounds per game. She was one of two freshmen to earn all-state recognition, and one of just six freshmen to earn all-state honors across all five Missouri classifications.

Bekemeier was also one of six Republic basketball players named to the all-Central Ozark Conference boys and girls teams. She was a first-team selection. Jazzy Kirby earned second-team all-COC honors, and Delaney Smith was named to the all-conference defensive team.

The Tigers landed three players on the all-conference team, as well. Drew McMillin earned first-team honors. Race Looney was a second-team selection, and Joe Rexroat was named to the third team.
