In the most prestigious wrestling tournament in southwest Missouri, two Republic wrestlers had a perfect two days. Wyatt George and Jonathan O’Connell each won gold medals at the Kinloch Classic at Parkview High School over the weekend. Both swept through their brackets without a loss over the two-day tournament. For O’Connell, it’s a continuation of a perfect season so far. He’s 16-0. George isn’t far behind. He has suffered just one loss this season and stands at 13-1 so far.
