Republic finished in ninth place Monday at the Central Ozark Conference golf tournament in Carthage. Republic shot a 426 as a team – the Lady Tigers’ best team score of the year so far. (Photos below.)
Clara Fronabarger, playing her first 18-hole tournament since returning from injury, shot a 95 to lead the Lady Tigers. Regan Holmes finished with a 103. Quinn McCrea shot a 109. Ashlyn Leonard finished at 119, and Lena Mais ended the day at 133.
Fronabarger’s 95 put her just off the cut for all-conference status.
The Lady Tigers play a nine-hole match tomorrow at Island Green against Willard. Play begins at 3:30.
