Schofield Elementary student Clare Yates won the Xcel Platinum all-around state championship at Lindenwood University in O’Fallon. She finished with a personal-best score of 36.6 overall. Clare finished first on the uneven bars, first on the balance beam, first on vault, and fifth in the floor exercise.
