Three soccer Tigers captured all-state recognition from the Missouri Soccer Coaches Association. Senior forward Dylan Brown led the way with his selection to the Class 3 All-State First Team. Junior defender Alex Leonard was named to the All-State Second Team. Senior Midfielder Trenton Roetto won honorable mention.
The Tigers, who finished third in Class 3 with a 24-5 record, also took the third spot in the coaches’ association’s final top ten poll of the season.
Several Tigers also won all-region honors earlier this week. Dylan Brown was the Southwest-Central Region Player of the Year. Republic coach Kevin Hauck was Coach of the Year. Ghan, Leonard, and Roetto were also named all-region.
The Tigers landed five players on the All-COC team. Roetto, Brown, and Leonard were all first-teamers. Ghan and defender Carlos Chan were named to the second team.
