Michael Taylor led the way for the Republic wrestlers at the Central Ozark Conference Tournament in Carthage Saturday. Taylor was the top finisher among Republic’s wrestlers, taking second place in the 106 pound division.
Julian Richardson finished third at 220 pounds. The other four wrestlers – Republic was competing with a small lineup of only six competitors – finished fourth.
Hunter Powell (126), Johnathon Beckett (132), CJ Richardson (138), and Zach Dickens each made the semifinals but ended up losing their 3rd place matches to take fourth place in their weight classes.
