Republic’s best wrestling start in recent memory continued with another sweep at a triangular in Willard against two Central Ozark Conference foes Tuesday. The Tigers demolished Branson 69-3 and squeaked out a win against a powerful Willard squad, 40-34.
Michael Taylor, Hunter Powell, Johnathon Beckett, Brandon O’Connell, Austin Noblitt, Julian Richardson, and Shayne Piles each won two matches for Republic. Hunter Pyle won his only match of the night as well.
The Tigers try to keep the momentum alive when they travel to St. Louis for the Fort Zumwalt East Invitational this weekend.
