The state-ranked Nixa Lady Eagles made short work of Republic in volleyball Thursday evening, winning at Nixa 25-14 25-10.
Senior Alexis Ladwig led the Lady Tigers with nine kills. Lynn Kreul had nine assists and Eryn Russell contributed eight digs.
Republic falls to 6-9-1 this season. They’re 1-3 in the Central Ozark Conference.
The Republic JV and freshman teams also lost. The JV score was 25-18 25-20, and the freshman score was 25-19 25-20.
