Republic Romps in the Rain

Republic scored a school-record 11 goals on a wet Thursday night, beating Hillcrest 11-1. The Tigers jumped ahead 7-0 and cruised to an easy win over the Hornets, ending the game early when they took a 10-goal lead with 20 minutes left in the 2nd half.

Ross Berning and Dawson Sjomeling had two goals apiece for Republic. Raymond Rosas scored his first goal of the year. Jansen McQuerter, Jacob Hesington, Armando Hurtado, and Hayden Lease also scored for the Tigers.

Republic is back in action next Monday on the road against Greenwood.
