Freshman softball player Kami Holt is your Tiger of the Week! Holt helped lead the varsity Lady Tigers to a victory at Rogersville when she went 2-for-3 with two runs scored. But she wasn’t done. She followed that up with a home run in the JV game. The home run was the fourth of the JV season for Holt, who has seen more varsity playing time as the season continues.
Holt and the rest of the Lady Tigers will begin district play Wednesday at 7 p.m. against Neosho. The district tournament will be held at Neosho. Republic is the #3 seed, behind McDonald County and Webb City.
