The Lady Tigers volleyball team cruised to a straight-set COC victory over Neosho Tuesday, 25-13 25-20. Republic trailed 10-7 in the first set, but went on a 15-2 run to seize control.

The Lady Tigers’ offense was led by sophomore Brooke Stanfield, who had nine kills. Emily Preston contributed 23 assists. Maddy Sherman had seven digs and four service aces for Republic.
“I feel like we passed pretty well. I thought we did a good job with the serve receive,” says coach Piper Wright. “We run a little bit of a quicker offense, and that can be kind of tough to against teams that don’t.”
The victory runs Republic’s record to 10-6. The Lady Tigers are 3-0 in the COC.
